Broker says BUY
RBS has raised its recommendation on British American Tobacco to "buy" from "hold" saying it thinks tobacco stocks look more attractive than food and household goods companies.

The firm, whose brands include Dunhill, Rothmans and Lucky Strike, said in May that first-quarter profits were up 18 per cent to £807 million due to a strong performance in emerging markets.
