THE construction market has been suffering lately but that does not seem to affect Keith Miller's salary package.
The chief executive of the Edinburgh-based Miller housebuilding group has become one of Scotland's best-paid executives, with a 3 per cent pay increase from £2.3 million in 2006 to £2.44m.

Miller, 58, also holds about 16 per cent of the group's shares and will be entitled to what some may see as a generous annual pension of £276,000.

The figures comes three months after Miller announced that the group was facing the worst trading conditions in ten years.
