Budget business measures at a glance: £1bn funding help for SMEs

A NEW small business finance scheme will be launched by the government to support up to £1 billion of bank lending.
There will be a separate £1bn guarantee facility to support bank lending to small exporters.

On top of that, there is to be a £50 million fund to convert businesses' debt into equity and a £25m regional loan transition fund.
