HEARTS striker Jamie Mole has undergone an X-ray amid fears he may have broken a foot.
Mole, 20, suffered the injury during training yesterday and it was deemed serious enough to warrant a visit to hospital.

Manager Csaba Laszlo told the official website, www.heartsfc.co.uk: "Jamie took a blow to his foot so we will see what the
scans say.

"We are obviously hoping there is nothing more than the bruising but he is sore so we will have to wait and see what the results of the x-rays are."

Mole's injury is the second big blow for Hearts in the striking department in the last 24 hours after it was revealed Mike Tullberg had suffered another setback in his bid to recover from a torn thigh muscle.

The Dane, on loan from Italian side Reggina, complained of recurring pain in the ruptured quad on Sunday and was forced to abort his return to training.

Laszlo revealed Tullberg, who has made just two appearances this season due to the problem, may be sent back to Denmark for further specialist treatment.

The player sought help for the same injury in his homeland in September from Thomas Macon, the private physio of Denmark's WBA super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler.

Laszlo added: "Mike Tullberg still has the same problem and we must make a decision on him.

"I will speak with the doctors, physios and with the sport director maybe today or tomorrow, but we must have a quick solution.

"It might be best for the player to go back to Denmark and see a specialist there, but we will make a decision on this. I hope Mike can come back into the team quickly but he must be free of injury first.

"The player wants to come back but he still has this muscle problem. He tried to train on Sunday but told me he was still getting pain from his muscle and had to stop. We want him fit so we will do what is best for Mike."

Meanwhile, Laszlo has confirmed midfielder Laryea Kingston will be in contention for Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Rangers if he comes through training unscathed.

The Ghana international has been sidelined with a thigh injury since the Edinburgh derby draw with Hibernian last month.

Laszlo was annoyed the player was forced to travel to and from Africa to get the problem assessed by national team doctors ahead of last week's friendly against Tunisia.

"Larry is training and we will speak about the problems we had," said Laszlo. "We do not have a bad relationship and my door is always open. It is important to think of the club but also of the player and of the team spirit.

"I will look to get him back playing. If he trains all week, he can play against Rangers."

Not the end of the world Mole not good enough yet anyway
Tullberg has just been a waste of time and money and his loan should be cancelled with immediate effect
Keep hoping to see Bruno signing a new deal and news of a striker in January

No blow this.As Robert says he`s a masquerader of a footballer.Wouldn`t get his game for a junior side 30 years ago.
As we can`t comment on last night`s display by the wee team from the East side of Glasgow ,can I say to all Hearts players ...why can`t you beat this hapless bunch ? Because they`re even worse I hear you say...surely not.If Hearts had one decent striker and one decent defender they could sort them out every time. The gap is not that wide.A little belief and endeavour is all that`s needed.

Celtic are poison to the SPL. They are just experts at duffing in teams with much weaker resources. The SPL should throw them out of the league, Scottish football would be better off without them. (ps Celtic thread closed)

Not really the end of the world that Mole is out to be honest. Wonder who will replace him on the bench against Rearangers though. Templeton may get on at some point.

Not a problem as he would have been on the bench anyway, Same team as last week then?

Balogh, Neilson, Berra, Zaliukas, Lee Wallace, Jonsson, Aguiar, Karipidis, Palazuelos, Driver, Nade.

Time for young Glen to stand up and be counted? Over to you Csaba Laszlo....

Last September in the corresponding fixture at Tynie we thrashed Rankgers 4-2.

Now would be a good time for a repeat performance.

Sellick, nice try, HA HA HA European football....very SMALL fish, very BIG pond.

Had to laugh at the comment about the ref refusing to give them a penalty. WHAT????? NO PENALTY?????

Not good enough. Oh, sorry, it was European football, European ref, no favours there then.

Pity the same standards can't be applied to the SPL.

Hearts V ReaRangers will be akin to watching 2 fat old ladies battering each other with their handbags for the right to pay for the tea and scones.

Boyd and Nadie as the battle of the strikers?

It'll be like Big Daddie against Giant Haystacks.

Be intersting to see how many of 'The Most Loyal Supporters In The World' will turn up at Darkheid for the final meaningless Group E game.

Rambo....I'll educate you as you've never been in the Champs League.

90%+ of tickets are purchased in advance as part of the Champs League grouping of games eg you buy tickets for the 3 games. These were all sold in advance of the 1st home game. Very small amounts go on public sales.

I haven't checked yet, but I think it would be safe to say that it will be a near 60k sell out.

Like most who purchased their ticket in advance, I will be there to take my mind of the dross I have to watch week in week out in the SPL.

Incidentally, good luck to the jammed farts on Sat. If you play the same way you did against Mighty Celtic a few weeks back, its should be good enough for a sneaky 1-0 win....although I reckon I might dose off before the end of the game.

Fair enough. This will be useful when VR takes us to the Champions League Final in the year 2525.

As I said previously, preferably a repeat of the 4-2 game.

If you want to stop watching dross week in week out, stay away from Darkheid and start going to Tynie!

#33 - thanks for the offer, but as I stated earlier, at Tynie on Saturday football will be the victim...regardless of the scoreline.

2 teams trying to see who can kick it the highest and the furthest.

All incoming air traffic has been diverted from Tynie between 12:30 and 2:30 on Sat PM.

Even that is not a guarantee of aviation safety.

Sad for Scots' fitba to see Celtic so dismal. Goes to show you that on the big stage, without biased refs who are swayed by 50k braying morons, the OF are cac. Getting a lucky win against St Mirren with the ref's help doesn't really mean much.

Wonder how the OF ugly sisters would fare in yon Euro Super League?
31

Mavro,

On a Moonbeam 26/11/2008 13:48:56
Jamboy, what planet are you on? Gers don't owe HBOS £100 million. Hearts' debt is actually miles bigger than Gers' - and on crowds of 14,000 as opposed to 50,000 with a foreign owner who could call in that debt any time he likes and leave the club defunct while he goes back to his luxurious life in Lithuania. I'd worry about my own club if I were you.

As for performances on the field - with Hearts' record over the past 20-30 years, I think you'd love it if your lot of second rate foreigners could win the League Cup, let alone the Scottish Cup. Ooops, sorry, you're OUT of this season's already! I like how you belittle those trophies - even though they are the ONLY ones wee diddy clubs like yours could ever hope to win. I'll leave you thinking of that great old Hearts' song: " Flats..flats..glorious flats...it's down at Tynecastle they'll bide....."
32

Mavro,

On a Moonbeam 26/11/2008 14:17:27
You really are an idiot! Why would he call the debt in? Er...maybe because he realises he's getting no benefits ( let alone glory) out of subsidising Hearts? That's the whole point. Mad Vlad, in the shape of Hearts, owes his own bank the money. Therefore HE can decide WHEN he wants his money back from Hearts. When he gets fed up he can move on. It's not like the previous majority shareholders of the club who were frightened to do anything as they had to live in the same community as the Jambo fans.So selling off the players and the land would be the only way he could recoup even some of the vast amount of money he is owed by the club.Be afraid..be very afraid.....

TOTT,JAMBOY,

Can't believe you got a responce from a talking grape, aka Mavro,- Mavro (Greek: µa???, meaning "black") is an indigenous red grape cultivated on the island of Cyprus. The grape takes its name from its dark colour. The Italian ampelographer, Count Giuseppe di Rovasenda refers to it in 1877 as Cipro Nero (Cyprus black) [1]. An ancient variety, its suitability to the hot Cypriot climate has made it the dominant cultivated vine on the island. It accounts for 70% of cultivated vines [2]. Of note is that mavro continues to grow on ancient rootstock unlike most mainland European grapes that are grafted on North American roostock. This is a consequence of Cyprus’ escape from the phylloxera epidemic in the 19th century. [3]

The Rearenders fruits that we get on here, Pricless...!

Unlucky for Celtic last night. I think we played pretty well. Aalborg must be pinching themselves at the flukiness of both their goals since they didn't really create anything themselves. Still that's how it goes in football. -specially in Europe.
We'll just have to keep the chins up and concentrate on the SPL instead.
