GRAHAM Lee is to miss the John Smith's Grand National meeting and delay his comeback from injury by about a fortnight.
Ferdy Murphy's retained jockey – who won the National in 2004 on the Ginger McCain-trained Amberleigh House – made the tough decision to skip Aintree as he believes he is not yet fully fit. Lee fractured his jaw in several places at Huntingdon last month, forcing him out of the Cheltenham Festival.

"I'm going to give Aintree a miss," explained Lee yesterday. "If I rushed I could get to Aintree, but I wouldn't be 100 per cent. I'm ten days to two weeks short."
