SENEGALESE defender Lamine Diatta has joined Qatar's Al Ahli just days after being released by Hamilton, having failed to make an appearance for the Premier League outfit.
The former Senegal captain joined Hamilton in March but failed to impress manager Billy Reid, who decided he would not be able to displace regular centre-backs Mark McLaughlin or Chris Swailes.

The 33-year-old defender had previously had a spell with Newcastle United.
