Complaint over Harry in a hurry

ROYAL protection officers in convoy with a car carrying Prince Harry "put lives at risk" by driving recklessly at 100mph, it was claimed yesterday.
Company director Tim Williams, 33, has lodged a complaint with police, claiming he was "tailgated" by an unmarked police car following another car carrying the prince driving on the M4 this month.

If anyone else was driving at speeds of 100mph, they would be prosecuted. So when is this particular parasite going to be prosecuted? They presumably have enough proof as he was being followed by a police car. While they are at it, these particular police should be prosecuted for tailgating and for speeding.

100mph is not necessarily dangerous. I fail to see what the fuss is about.

As for "company director" Tim Williams, the reason you were tailgeted by an un-marked police car is in all probability because you didn't get out of the damn way quick enough---probably because you were not looking in your mirror as often as you should have been.

Also, when the police are escorting a VIP, they do not take kindly to someone pulling out into the convoy. Could it be that you saw a couple of cars flash past you, then decided to take the law into your own hands and slow the following vehicles down? I strongly suspect that you did.

Maybe you should change your name to "Nice-But-Dim"? In any case, hand your licence in to the nearest police station. You are not fit to be on the road.

It would seem that the parasites, despite all their ill gotten gains, and subsidies from the taxpayers, do not even have to buy their own cars. They get them provided by Audi in some sort of deal with the parasites.

Why didn't the Hootsmon tell us that bit?

I hate to rain on your parade but special rules apply to VIP escort vehicles. They are trained to drive in the manner described.

Also, all Royals nowadays have to undertake specialist driver training, which includes anti-terrorist techniques and pursuit avoidance.

The reason why they get a move on like this is so that they do not have to sit adjacent to other traffic and as such, they considerably lessen the risk of opportunist attack. They are also less vulnerable to stupid mistakes made by other drivers in close proximity. You can just picture the scene---"Oh look!!! There's Prince Harry!! Cooo-eeee!! Harreeeee!!!...." Bang!

this doesn't just happen for Royals. It happens for senior politicians, foreign heads of state, A-List celebrities---in fact it happens for anyone th epolice are charged with escorting.

7 ,It’s your prerogative to defend HRH in this incident, though I don’t think you'd make a very good trial lawyer. It's not about what you think may have happened that counts, its about the facts.

So far, we have heard one side of the story, if we don’t hear from the other side what are we expected think? Maybe that what Tim Williams has said is a close approximation of the truth???

You have no grounds what so ever to refer to Mr Williams as Nice-but-Dim? Someone who has had the best education money can buy and gets one A level at art might best described as Nice - but -Dim., however I can’t see from the evidence why you'd call Mr Williams this.

yes they are trained to drive at these speeds when there is a legitimate operational reason (in the case of imminent danger to the mark) to do so however going to the pub is not classed as an operational reason and as such they are legally limited to the speed limit of the road they are travelling on as such they were breaking the law .

In theory you could claim that your life was in danger and as a result you had to break the speed limit for safety reasons but I doubt that the average person on the street would get away with it. You stated “100mph is not necessarily dangerous. I fail to see what the fuss is about” if you think that why do you not go out and drive past a traffic police car and when stopped tell them that.

Escorting a VIP is a legitimate reason for breaking the speed limit for reasons I have just explained. Where Harry was going is immaterial, the speed is used for a strategic reason.

And why 100mph? If you have ever driven on that stretch of the M4 you would realise that most of the traffic travels at about 90mph. 10mph faster than the average traffic flow seems about right to me.

And 100mph is NOT necessarily dangerous in the right conditions. It is this county's daft obsession with the rediculous 70mph speed limit that is potentially dangerous.

I understand all of your reasons for driving at 100mph Alternative, but even when driving a VIP the drivers have to obay the rules of the road and that includes speed. The fact that a convoy of vehicles was traveling at that speed makes it even more dangerous.
Anyway why did'nt his brother fly him there is his chopper?

Not often right but wrong again they have to obey the same rules as everyone else unless there is a clear and present danger to the vip I have had this confirmed by a traffic inspector so going to the pub is not a threat have you been sniffing the petrol fumes again?
