Did he mention Google Gut in his speech? Apparently the contents of every stomach on the planet can now be viewed over the internet from your home computer using this amazing new programme.

@ thewitness: You are aware that the space shuttle and the moon rocket's are totally different technologies? Just because you're mind is too small to accept it doesnt mean it isn't true.

@ article: Of course it'll take 40 minutes to acces a computer on mars from earth, are you aware of the speed of light? It's not the internet's structure, it's physics. You'd have to have something like usenet where each planet backs up all of it's information to a server to stop the delay's.

Please get someone who has a vague idea of science to write your stuff.

Excelsior has forgotten something. Entangled particle experiments show only one thing, we have misunderstood dimensions. The mind, a zero dimensional computing device with no up, down, in, out, left or right is the only way we experience anything and these experiments show us that though our minds can share a common undertsanding of three "dimensions" those dimensions have no more reality than his/her grasp of physics. Our common DNA allows us to comprehend one another through the shared brain derived concept of three dimensions but our DNA also allowed us to think, ...... take your blinkers off Excelsior, .... you know no more about Physics than Hawking does. The definition of a Scientist is someone who listens to the results of experiments not someone who ignores them. There are precious few Scientists around today sadly. Faster than light information transfer will be a dawdle if only you open your eyes and think about it. Think of matter being recreated as we move through the flat electro-magnetic-spin vacuum as we move through space much as a bulge of water moves on a pond and add in multiple reflections (universes) to inhabit, balls that rise into the hand in the mirror as it drops from yours as the EMS pattern is reversed there, add a dash of information conservation rather than energy conservation and a huge huge huge huge dash of utter trembling humility you may just have the beginnings of an understanding of a conceptual physics that actually works and explains flywheels that get lighter as they spin ...... glasshopper.
