I like this guy!!
Ya - I like dis guy too.
I wonder just what the "Austrian Muslim Initiative" is.
"His move is meaningless, populist, racist and anti-Islamic," Populist AND anti-Islamic - well that says something about the area.
1 & 2, So you like Austrian right wing firebrands, do you?I guess you like toothbrush moustaches and have a penchant for funny marches too.
#4-Scullion-"I guess you like toothbrush moustaches and have a penchant for funny marches too.- That's Not true, I have nothing against the jews.
Joerg Haider. a man of great vision - don't give evil a place to squat.
#4leave Basil Fawlty out of this
Ya, Scullion, I, Conan, like all Austrians.
Carinthia ... along with neighbouring Styria ... home to several families that have alleged vampires in their ancestries.
I think that's your answer. It takes one evil git to recognise and block another!
Perhaps the spokesman for the Austrian Muslim Initiative could enlighten us on his religion's views on any other religion attempting to build a place of worship in Saudi Arabia.I am all for mutual respect, but Islamists appear to favour an entirely one sided world where Islam is free to proliferate across Western Europe - pressurising Governments as they go for greater sympathy to the Muslim faith - whilst in the Muslim world other faiths are harassed and persecuted.I am a great believer in the old maxim of "do unto others..etc" and it is high time these Muslim spokesmen blessed a part of the world that allows them freedom of speech and freedom of worship.
Sounds like a real vote winner, David and Annabelle, take note.
JayJay has said it all....Saudi is spending untold amounts all over Europe,in Muslim Schools,Colleges,Mosques & that anomly Muslim Cultural Centres...however they will NOT welcome or allow.Quid Pro Quo...U try opening a Christian/Jewish/Hindu/Bhuddist Centre over there.
Quote: " 'It's a ridiculous statement to say he [Governor Haider] fears a clash of civilisations [in Carinthia],' said Omar al-Rawi, a spokesman for the Austrian Muslims' Initiative."
Answer: A perfect example of why Muslims will never assimilate into Western nations.
A handful of Muslims in Virginia about 15 years ago demanded- and got-the name of a public auditorium and stage changed because it was called "The Mosque." The building was built in the early 1900's with a Middle Eastern architecture and is a historic landmark building.
Would Mr. Omar al-Rawi of the Austrian Muslims' Initiative consider this move of his fellow Muslims in Virginia to be "a clash of civilisations" or "a meaningless, populist, racist and anti-Christian" action?"
I would like to see what would happen to any one person who wasn't Muslim to bring a Bible into any of these countries. As far as I am concerned, until they show respect for the religion of others, and the rights of other religions..they really should not demand anything from other countries for their religion. If they ar not happy where they are living...return to the country they came from.

Well said.
Religion IS the problem, and the Muslim version of that claptrap is the biggest problem the rest of the world is facing at the present time. To all thick-headed western apologists - face the reality.

I could not agree more. Moslem fundamentalists in the middle east and bible bashers in the US.
The sooner religion is readdressed in Human Rights laws to 'hobby' status the safer the world becomes for all.
However I quite like the impressive architecture in most religious buildings, so why ban them. They should be used to house homeless people at night though, just to show us that each associate hobby is good and caring.
#18. S-McCYour last para particularly - great idea. All for it.
