Central Edinburgh gives an impression of shops that are either boarded up or cluttered with scaffolding, plus continuing traffic problems and London-style prices for everything. It is a pleasant surprise to see some good business news (Balmoral Hotel, John Lewis) emerging from all this.

No wonder John Lewis made such a profit in Edinburgh - there's nowhere else to shop :o)

Well at least ive had a laugh today.Shops in Edinburgh hahahahahahha,meantime ill just keep shopping in Glasgow,Park N ride Underground and all that ,
