O.K. So satanism is a belief system like any other, and is obviously as old as belief in a single deity, but what is the point, it is an opposite belief to the antithesis of god, the other side of the coin if you believe one exists you have to believe the other exists.

The report is inaccurate when it says 'heavy metal' is involved.

What the report should say is that 'black metal' is involved. Those who don't know, black metal's main area of origin is Scandinavia and has a huge following there which is based almost solely around satanism and devil worshipping. The burning and desecrating of churches has been going on there for years. This poison is spreading all over Europe and now it seems that Italy has a real problem with it.

Comparing the two genres, 'heavy metal' barely has any resemblence whatsoever to with 'black metal'.

Poorly informed media reporters have once again got this wrong in implying that 'heavy metal' fans are satanic worshipers, they are not, they just like good music.

These people who are causing this trouble in Italy are a very different breed of 'metal' fan and should not be compared at all with good, regular, law abiding metal fans who have no interest in their activities at all.
