Canadian soldiers die in attack

THREE Canadian soldiers were killed in southern Afghanistan yesterday when their armoured vehicle was attacked by militants, a senior military official told reporters.
Five more soldiers were injured in the same incident.

So far, 96 Canadian soldiers have died since Ottawa deployed troops to Afghanistan in late 2002.
