Green energy first for food company

ONE of Scotland's leading independent companies has become the first in the country to make food ingredients using green energy created by burning wood chips.
Macphie of Glenbervie has installed a multi-million-pound 1.2-megawatt biomass boiler at its factory near Stonehaven.
