Blogosphere: Unimpressed by Obama

THE story of Barack Obama and Reverend Wright known as the Pastor Disaster will not go away any time soon.
Why should it? Obama has a 20-year relationship with Reverend Wright; to suggest that Wright's comments were isolated would be to flat out lie. However, instead of taking on the difficult situation head on which would be "Presidential", Obama and his wife fled to the Virgin Islands away from the fire storm. Or so they thought. This is hardly the acts of an un-typical politician and a candidate of change.

If any one thinks the Reverend Wright story is going away any time soon … think again. Reverend Wright was supposed to speak in Florida at the Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace have been canceled. Canceled for security? More like canceled as Barack Obama was afraid what Wright's words would further due to his election hopes.

To make matters even more interesting for Barack Obama is to take a look at his tax returns that he released. What words outraged Americans … "God Damn America". I guess the Obamas have prospered in that place that the Reverend Wright has such an issue with.

Reverend Wright doesn't like whites, black people that don't agree with him, Italians, rich white people, and I guarantee you the list is going to get longer. I have never heard a supposedly man of God be so hateful. Well I am white, Italian and Catholic yikes, I wasn't there when Jesus was crucified, my family are all immigrants that came over in the early 1900's. So I wasn't here for slavery, wasn't there for the crucifixion, but apparently, and I know there are thousands upon millions of us here in the U.S. that have the same, I am included in his wrath of hate.

We all, one time or the other, have used derogatory words against other races. I will say blacks and the Jews have been more at the receiving end than any other races. I would have added muslims but I think their problems were as a result of their inability to relate wee with others, therefore I will not mention them as one of the groups at the receiving end. In fact I will see them at the giving end. The issue of hate is not a new one and it is not going to go away any time soon. My problem is when people begin to blame someone for another person's sin. If Wright made some hateful speech why beat Obama for it? Because the man is his Pastor does not mean he should be beaten for Wright's sin. I will suggest we address Wright for his careless talk and not Obama.
