BURMESE human rights activist Su Su Nway was arrested in Rangoon yesterday after being on the run since the army crushed pro-democracy protests in late September.
The 34-year-old was putting up posters when she was detained, an opposition source said.

Burmese authorities today charged Ms Su Su Nway with Posting without a permit, and exercising her God given right to express herself against tyranny.

Both offences subject to immediate imprisonment without trial or due process.

Facism, alive and well in Burma.
