Leith is an impounded docks, the water level is maintained at high water, which is artificial. The entrance lock and coffer dam prevents the river from reaching the sea, or being flushed out. This is unique. The Water of Leith does not reach the sea, which is hardly normal. Leith (water and docks) needs to be cleaned up.
