CONSTRUCTION group Morgan Sindall yesterday maintained it was on track to report a record result in 2008 with an order book remaining strong at £3.8 billion, bucking the trend for the building industry as a whole.
It said its core construction business was holding up well amid the economic storm, with 70 per cent of its workload coming from the public sector.

The company added that its fit-out unit had continued to perform strongly in the second half of the year.
