Bid to break water pay deadlock

TRADE unions representing workers at Scottish Water have put forward a new set of proposals as part of pay negotiations.

Talks took place yesterday between the unions and Scottish Water in Dunfermline. The meeting followed GMB and Unite members’ rejection earlier this month of a pay freeze for 2011-12.
