INCREASING numbers of gardeners are spotting signs of climate change, including having to mow the lawn more frequently.
According to a poll by the waste-reduction agency Wrap to mark Compost Awareness Week, more than half of gardeners (56 per cent) say their grass-cutting season has lengthened, up from 40 per cent last year.

I don't have to mow the lawn more frequently but that's a policy decision and part of my lack of mission statement.

Think we're getting a wee bit more locally warm in this area now, but it is May and the ground's heating up as my father used to say, but he was lot keener on gardening than I am and knew about these things.

Nice link Guga II

I have seen a couple of articles covering the, ahem, "situation" and that has some interesting comments. This solar cycle will produce more of this cool wet "weather". For years to come. Not on account of the PDO. Or CO2 ;-)
