FORMER Rangers defender John Brown will be appointed the new manager of Clyde today to succeed Colin Hendry, who left the First Division club last week.
The former Ibrox coach will be present when Clyde meet Hamilton today if the Broadwood pitch passes a morning inspection. Brown, who is 46 today, was one of four candidates for the Broadwood post, along with Gretna striker James Grady, former Hibs manager Jim Duffy and Clyde youth-team coach Gary Bollan.

In November, Dumbarton announced Brown as their new manager, only for him to perform a U-turn on his decision.
