TORY leader David Cameron has had his bicycle stolen again – this time from right outside his home in west London.
The keen cyclist saw his bike chained to railings at 7.10am yesterday, but an hour later it was gone, a spokeswoman said. Mr Cameron borrowed another bicycle from parliamentary aide Desmond Swayne for the journey to Westminster.

The theft has been reported to police.

Mr Cameron previously lost his bike when it was snatched from outside a supermarket near his home last summer.

He was later reunited with what he called the "priceless" Scott bike after it was tracked down by a Sunday newspaper.

Mr Swayne and Mr Cameron usually ride to the Commons together on a Wednesday ahead of Prime Minister's Questions. But on discovering his leader's predicament, he gave up his own bike to make sure he arrived in time for his pre-PMQs briefing.

The MP for New Forest West ran to the Commons instead.

To lose one bike is an accident
to lose two shows he is not fit to assume the prime responsibility to protect this country.
He can't even protect his bike.

Darling - daft
Brown - buffoon
Cameron - Clot.

at least shows that all the crooks in london are not at westminster, although pro rata they contribute exponentially to the crime problems in the capital.

Would you buy a second hand bike from Broon or Cameron?

I have no doubt that Scott made mountain bicycles are well designed and manufactured products.

However, a search of price comparison websites found the least expensive Scott model was £479, and the most expensive model cost just under £7,000!

I suppose it wouldn't do for the ex-Etonian leader of the Tory Party to own a Raleigh?

Never mind, Dave: in a year's time, security around you will be so tight that thieves won't be able to steal so much as a leaf from your doorstep.

I'm of the opinion that you'll enjoy a great deal of good will, particularly in Scotland (however many Scottish MPs, if any, you manage to get under the FPTP system). After all, Scots certainly seem to have taken to your tartan counterparts after the extremely narrow majority they initially gave them.

Not to worry. Dave will on doubt replace it and put it on his expenses.
