RYAN Watson made a sparkling return to Forfarshire duty as they bounced back to form with a resounding First Division triumph over Penicuik.
Umair Mohammed snapped up three for 28 to send Penicuik crashing to 165 all out. The stage was then clear for Watson to strike a brisk 92 to complete the emphatic win.
Aberdeenshire again underlined their tag as promotion favourites by demolishing West Lothian by ten wickets at Mannofield. Todd Astle and Tyrone Buchan shared six scalps to reduce the Linlithgow side to 97 all out. Astle then featured with a half century as he and Ian Brand (44no) guided the locals home.
Freuchie thumped Stenhousemuir by six wickets at Muir Road. There was no way back for the visitors after they had been reduced to 16 for three with Scott Gourlay removing Tom Ferrier and Sanjay Rakshit and Stuart Gibson accounting for pro Craig Thyssen.
Stirling County were put to the sword by Arbroath at Lochlands.
Benny McGill top-scored for Arbroath with 50.
