Douglas poised for Dundee return
DUNDEE are poised to bring goalkeeper Rab Douglas back to Dens Park. The 36-year-old made his name at Dundee in the 1990s before winning a £1 million move to Celtic and a place in the Scotland team. He joined Leicester but is looking to return no
rth. Rae is also eyeing ex-Kilmarnock player Gary Holt and Livingston's Robert Snodgrass.

Stockport win League 2 play-off

JIM Gannon's Stockport beat Rochdale 3-2 at Wembley yesterday to win the Coca-Cola League Two play-off final. The Hatters fell behind to Rory McArdle's 23rd-minute corner, but a Nathan Stanton own goal and strikes from Anthony Pilkington and Liam Dickinson put them in control. Adam Rundle clawed one back for Rochdale, but County held on.

Barcelona sign Mali's Keita

BARCELONA have signed Mali international midfielder Seydou Keita from Sevilla on a four-year contract. Meanwhile, Villarreal signed Valladolid striker Joseba Llorente on a four-year contract. Llorente scored 17 league goals this season.

Germany's best is a Frenchman

FRANCE midfielder Franck Ribery has been voted Bundesliga player of the year in a poll of players in Kicker newspaper. Ribery won 57.8 per cent of the vote, Luca Toni was second and Werder Bremen's Diego was third.

McManus heads for Morton

MORTON have agreed a two-year deal with freed St Johnstone defender Allan McManus. The former Hearts man is David Irons fourth new signing of the summer, and he said: "He will be a great help to our youngsters."

..if you mean big rab then shame on you..douglas is painted worse than he ever really was...if you are going to go on about him costing us the uefa cup..watch the highlights again..particularly at anfield...
