BRIAN Kerr has revealed Dundee manager Jocky Scott was constantly on the phone during his holiday in the US – but insists he was delighted by it.
The one-time Scotland international signed a three-year deal at Dens Park yesterday to become the Dark Blues' eighth summer signing as they bid to finally get out of the First Division.
Kerr could have stayed at Inverness alongside mentor Terry Butcher but after seeing Dundee sign the likes of Leigh Griffiths from Livingston as well as ex-Ross County pair Richie Hart and Sean Higgins, the 27-year-old feels joining the ambitious Tayside club is his best route back to the SPL.
He said: "It was a big decision to leave Caley, but right now I think Dundee is a better option."
