The operations of a council-owned company launched seven years ago to head the regeneration of Edinburgh's city centre, are to be swallowed up by a new citywide business initiative.
Edinburgh City Council has ruled that its City Centre Management Company is to become part of the new Business Improvement District (BID) structure backed by the Scottish Executive.
