CONGRATULATIONS THEN to Max Mosley, whose job as head of the Formula One governing body, the FIA, is safe thanks to a vote of confidence yesterday from its members.
A total of 103 of the 169 votes cast during the extraordinary general assembly at the FIA's headquarters in Paris went in Mosley's favour, meaning that the son of fascist leader Oswald Mosley and socialite Diana Mitford will not resign – at least not...

Willing buyer, willing seller..

Most prostitutes begin as children, they are groomed or trafficked unto prostitution as teenagers, by pimps who want to use them as assets to make money. Getting them hooked on drugs is one method of coercing teenagers into the situation where they have to sell their bodies, raping and beating them is also common..

There seems to be the completely naive view that women make some sort of career decision, conveniently on the day they reach 18 of course, what sort of job they will do. Shall I be a dentist, secretary or a prostitute?

It is also completely naive as all prostitutes have pimps and the pimps are in charge of recruiting, trafficking and controlling the trade, and take most of the money. For trafficked women they are deceived into thinking they have a job offer or a new relationship, then they are beaten, raped and often gang raped. their families are threatened, until they lose all hope and live in fear. Drug taking starts or escalates then as a way of escaping the horrible and short life they face.

If it was such an easy life why don't prostitutes retire early, very wealthy, with their health intact and without drugs or alcohol problems?

The German police have reported that there was a huge increase in prostitution on Germany around the World Cup, and it expected that the same will happen with the Olympics in London and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The criminal nexus of pimps/drug pushers is organising it now.

Finally if anyone else posts here could they say if they use prostitutes or not? There’s a lot of coyness about this. Ifs its all so great and ‘voluntary exchange’ there would be no harm in saying it would there?
