THE Archbishop of York yesterday branded suggestions by the British National Party that a "bloodless genocide" is taking place in Britain as "beyond belief".
BNP chairman Nick Griffin was defending a party leaflet that said black and Asian Britons "do not exist". He said calling such people British denied them their identity.

The Archbishop can hardly be called a disinterested party.

I have never liked the BNP nor any one else I know likes them. However I like many of those I talk to past Labour/Conservative/Liberal voters say they are seriously considering voting BNP.
The reasons given is mass immigration and the failure of the major UK parties to represent the indigenous politicians.
It about time the 3 parties started to represent the true Britons (includes longer term immigrants) we shall soon find out just how much illegal immigration has will cost us.

(1) Like you I'm no sympathser of the BNP in terms of policies or core beliefs. But, I do believe our political class need a serious shock. Paradoxically, a big vote for the BNP could be the best thing that could happen for democracy in this Country.

And yes, I am hearing a lot of people say they are seriously considering voting BNP. Considering and actually doing, are two very different things of course. Only time will tell, but this scenario where so many people were even considering it, would have been unthinkable even 10 years ago. I notice that the BNP are also doing better in opinion polls rising from around 4% of the vote - they can no longer hide them within 'others', which I suppose is why our impartial liberal media aren't reporting many opinion poll results anymore!

1...Why?..because he is black?..so what?...

If you are seriously considering voting BNP you are in dire need of a wake up call...the BNP is the un-acceptable face of the NF...in a suit and a tie..they affect the air of credibility and turn themselves inside out in an attempt to hide their racial hatred...have a look on Youtube at some of their vids and the comments left by their "Supporters"...they would make your stomach turn...if you were in any way civilised..and not just their supporters but many of their candidates are well dodgy, have criminal backgrounds and have been filmed talking of their respect for Hitler and how they enjoy violence against blacks or asians...I am serious...They have even now labelled black and asian brits as "Racial foreigners"...claiming that there is no such thing as a black or asian brit...not even those with generations of family here before them...pathetic...Aside from that the policies of the BNP are doolally...I could start quoting them here but I am sure you are probably already aware of them...

I have a question for you..a serious question..what is your definition of a "True Briton"..I would like to know...

Here in Switzerland you are a foreigner even if you were born and grew up here, just because your parents are non-Swiss. There are many thousands here, who have never been to Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Turkey and so on, but because their parents are from there, they are automatically categorised as from there. They have no vote in local or national elections and are treated as third class citizens.

The BNP's comments are therefore, from this country's standpoint understandable but still reprehensible!

Hitler never won the popular vote –even when the democratic Weimar republic went bankrupt he couldn’t get the popular vote. He eventually got in on a coalition government and put the opposition in concentration camps or shot them, and made himself dictator. Crack pot politics for crack pot times. So beware the Ides of March.
All that is required is rich international backers who will throw money at henchmen to keep the commies out

For those urging for immigration controls a strong vote for them should do the trick,as the politicians could not ignore such a surge. Also , they are the only party willing to openly oppose and take on the folly of 'multiculturalism' - an extreme left wing doctrine straight out of the Frankfurt School.
Addressing these issues can be very attractive, especially if you have seen your community utterly transformed by immigration over this last decade. Also, I am not convinced looking at the professions on 'list' they are all NAZI skinheads either ,on the contrary. I am just as concerned about the far left groups in this country such as Respect, plane crazy and the various palestine supporting trots.

Horrible Cankers (3): "If you are seriously considering voting BNP you are in dire need of a wake up call...the BNP is the un-acceptable face of the NF"

The BNP are, and the NF were, particularly unpleasant parties. However, as others have stated above, their increase in popularity are driven by immigration laxity and repressing any anti-immigration criticism as wholly racist. London is now approximately 40% ethnic minority, whilst its school-age population is more than 50% ethnic minority. These are extremely rapid changes which have greatly changed SE England, although the changes are much more muted in N England and Scotland.

I've never had a problem being un étranger en suisse, as it reminds me too much of where I come from. A kind of comfort zone away from home, you might say. Maybe that's because I, like you, physically resemble their indigenous lot, from whichever ethno-linguistic group, as to fit in almost invisibly. Food for thought.

However, watching/supporting Servette of Geneva is much like standing on the terracing at Links Park or the Glebe (a special kind of purgatory!).
