Gabriella Cilmi
What was your favourite childhood outfit?

I nearly always wore dresses when I was small. I especially liked one yellow floral dress, which I teamed with colourful stripy tights.

What were you wearing when you met your present partner?

I don't have a partner right now. However, if I ever meet hip-hop star Lupe Fiasco I hope to be wearing a super-hot outfit from Dolce & Gabbana.

What would you wear to get married?

I'm not sure yet. However, I'd probably wear two dresses. There'd be a white fitted dress for the church and an emerald green dress for the party afterwards. Maybe.

Do you have Saturday night underwear?

Now that would be telling!

Prada or Primark?

I'm a sucker for the new Prada shoes and bags. But, I think a mixture of designer and high street is good.

What was your worst fashion faux-pas?

It was probably wearing blue denim with yet more blue denim.

If you could afford any designer, who would you choose?

Vivienne Westwood. She makes great vest tops in all my favourite colours. I also like the cut of the necklines and the fabric she uses.

Gabriella Cilmi's new album, Lessons to be Learned, is out now. She is appearing at Òran Mór, top of Byres Road, Glasgow (0141-357 6200) on 9 June (tel: 0870 243 4455, www.ticketmaster.co.uk).
