YEARS ago, I remember reading an interview with Marie Helvin, muse of David Bailey and probably the nearest thing to a supermodel that we had in the Eighties. She was asked about her beauty secrets and, obviously being blessed with amazing genes, she could only come up with one thing that she reckoned made her skin look smooth and gorgeous – margarine.
