I NEVER thought it would happen, but it has – I am going to my first school reunion. It's particularly incredible because I hated school. It was my Guantanamo Bay, but with less attractive uniforms. Yet when the only two inmates – sorry, ex-pupils – who still talk to me insisted I go along with them, I started to wonder, how bad could it be? It's over 20 years since I left. I'm a grown-up now. What have I got to be afraid of?
