STRIKER Henrik Larsson is a surprise inclusion in Sweden coach Lars Lagerback's 23-man squad for this year's European Championship finals.
The former Celtic, Barcelona and Manchester United striker had retired from the national team after their second-round loss to hosts Germany at the 2006 World Cup.

Larsson has not played in the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, but has been impress
ive in the Swedish league with six goals in 11 appearances for his club Helsingborg this season.

Ireland pick O'Dea and McGeady

CELTIC pair Aiden McGeady and Darren O'Dea have been named in Giovanni Trapattoni's first Republic of Ireland squad. The duo will miss an Irish training camp in Portugal next week because of the extended SPL season – Celtic play Dundee United on 22 May – but will be available for friendlies against Serbia in Dublin on 24 May and Colombia at Craven Cottage on 29 May.

Miller signs new deal at Pittodrie

ABERDEEN striker Lee Miller has ended speculation about his future by signing a new two-year contract at Pittodrie. Miller accepted the club's offer after several weeks of deliberating over his future.

Miller said: "I am very settled here and I am really enjoying playing football with this side at the moment."

Bullen for Bairns

FORMER Dunfermline defender Lee Bullen will today sign a two-year deal to return to the SPL with Falkirk. The 37-year-old will undergo a medical and put pen to paper after being released by Sheffield Wednesday last week.

Good to see Henke back in top class action....

But as all the Rangers threads are closed...because the Hvns are getting slagged off...I just thought I'd say....

I've seldom been as delighted as I am tonight.

Let's all laugh at BE, Ninenro, Bring Them On, Doug, Dailyman, Forbesy, Keyboard Supporter, Colin P....and every hvn under the sun

YOUR BOYS TOOK ONE HELLUVA BEATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the cry was no surrender...sorry the cry was no turn up!

Outfought, outthought, outplayed and outclassed even outsung by the Russians...

RFC = Scotland's embarrassment
