THE Forestry Commission has received strong support in its bid to be the next owner of the Cairngorm Estate, which includes the ski area and funicular railway.
A consultation report on the proposed transfer of ownership attracted 79 responses from organisations and individuals, with 75 per cent in favour of the commission taking over.
