This is all the fault of George W. Bush for being right-wing.

He's to blame for everything.

#2 I doubt whether anyone could take anything else you say henceforth seriously if you think a marauding mass murderer of the ilk of Genghis Khan was a 'wise leader'. Quote from Encyclopaedia Britannica: "Almost all writers, even those who were in the Mongol service, have dwelt on the enormous destruction wrought by the Mongol invasions. One Arab historian openly expressed his horror at the recollection."

When he was but 13 years of age, Genghis Khan murdered his half brother. He began the series of campaigns of plunder and conquest that eventually carried the Mongol armies as far as the Adriatic Sea. Once he had conquered Otrar, Genghis Khan executed many of the inhabitants and executed Inalchuq by pouring molten silver into his ears and eyes. The invasions of Baghdad and Samarkand caused mass murders, and much of southern Khuzestan was completely destroyed. Among the Iranian peoples he is regarded as one of the most despised conquerors of Iran.

I could go on, but clearly the only reason you think he was a 'wise leader' is that, in common with other genocidal despots like Hitler and Stalin, he was against homosexual people. Fortunately, our society is a lot more civilised now, which means your personal safety is also protected by the state irrespective of your sexuality.
