Scots secure play-off for fifth place in Turin

SCOTLAND beat Italy 3-1 in the European men's amateur team golf championship at Royal Park Golf Club in Turin, Italy yesterday and will play Spain, 3-2 winners over Sweden in the fifth place play-off today.
Wallace Booth (Comrie), Gavin Dear (Murrayshall) and Paul O'Hara (Colville) all won their ties to clinch victory for the Scots. England, 5-2 semi-final winners over France, will play Ireland in the final.
