Fair play to Setanta for showing Hamilton's first SPL game, but do they have to be so blatant in their pro-Old-Firm scheduling?

Is the TV deal really all it's cracked up to be when it results in dwindling Old Firm away crowds, and a lack of coverage of games where a non-Old-Firm club is actually favourite to take the points?

This isn't Scottish football on Setanta. Its a soap opera of Old Firm games. Setanta should have been told that a certain percentage of games they show should not feature the OF.

If it is any consolation we Celtic supporters don't like the TV deal either.

I've binned my season ticket due to the SFA and Setanta messing about with the fixture list.

I have to travel a fair distance to get to the games and 12.30 kick off's and Sunday football is no good to me.

"Football without fans is nothing" said Jock Stein, and we're getting there.

I don't know why they just don't re-brand Setanta's coverage of Scottish football as 'The Old Firm show' given how they show one or the other every weekend.

Get real guys. The only reason Setanta is there at all is because of Celtic and Scotland´s Shame. Unless someone else other than SS tries to challenge Celtic (unlikely) and the occasional game like the Edinbburgh derby, there is simply not enough interest in the other games to make anything else commercially viable.

#4 Tracey, It's a sad fact but if it wasn't for Celtic and rangers fans you wouldn't have football on the telly.

Deal with it hen ;-)

I don't understand why people are so suprised about Seltanta showing a member of the OF in almost every game- its two members of the axis of evil here.

Axis of Evil= OF, GFA & Glasgow media.

The problem with the Axis of Evil is that they have the most awful glasgow syndrom- If it doesn't happen or come from glasgow that it nether matters nor probably exists.

No doubt the usual half wits wil deny this, but then again just play back the penalty decision Eddie Smith made on saturday....

#7 Like the one Hearts got in the last minute against Celtic at Tynecastle last season.

You poor dears are soooo hard done to. Your constant whining pathetic, grow some balls.
