Cancer myths tackled online

A CANCER charity has launched a new website aimed at dispelling the myths about the disease.
The Science Update blog, set up by Cancer Research UK, will report on the latest cancer research while picking out other relevant material to help debunk myths about the disease.

The website, scienceblog.cancerresearchuk.org/, will answer questions such as whether mobile phones are linked to cancer and if hypnosis can improve the quality of life of patients.

I hope they also give the true story about the efficacy of 'alternative' quack therapies and the dangers of using them instead of real, proven medicines.
