Diphtheria fear after child dies

A CHILD in London has died from suspected diphtheria – the first such fatality in Britain for 14 years.
Health officials said diphtheria, which attacks the breathing system, was the "most likely" explanation for the child's death. They said it was unlikely that anyone else would be affected.
