HEARTS midfielder Kestutis Ivaskevicius has returned to parent club FNB Kaunas after a two-year loan spell at Tynecastle.
The 23-year-old Lithuanian made 28 appearances, scoring only two goals.

Hearts sport director Anatoly Korobochka said: "There was just too much competition in Kestutis' position."

This is clearly another hobo jibe at Hearts from the hibsman. I challenge the writer of this "article" to explain why he/she believes that Kaunas is Hearts' parent club.

Despite his goals against old firm got more games than he merited. In reference to article I think reporter was trying to be clever with his words but neglected to write "his parent club". Of course this may have been deliberate.

His contract is with Kaunas, therefore he is returning to 'his' parent club. Poorly worded article in the Scotsman? Surely not.

Well if they are not the parent club then they certainly are a more successful club.....re champions league, which reminds me....isnt it about this time that the hertz should be champions of europe.

#4 they are not the parent club to Hearts mearly a feeder club for Vlad's ego e.g. if a player from Kaunas becomes good while on loan to Hearts then that feed's his ego, oh another thing "which reminds Me" Queen of South are still in european cup football Rangers are not Big Club Wee Club me thinks. If you believe Hearts should be champions of Europe just now you are more deluded than the mighty Vlad.

Good morning fellow Jambos.
Nice to see that we have shunted this guy, he was nothing but a burden on our resources, and the fact is that there remains at the club at least another four who should follow him out the door.
that Besleija geezer would be top of my "dunt list".
Looking forward to seeing Obua on Saturday, and perhaps Tullberg.

kaunas is his parent club in that they own him and that he was loaned out to hearts. the wording doesn't make it clear that the term 'parent club' refers to the player rather than hearts. is it a deliberate jibe? i wouldn't rule it out.

A um reliably informed that baith his ma and his da ur oan the backroom staff at FC Kaunas.
His ma maks the tea and his da is in charge ay the mops.
So clearly Kaunas is his parent club.
So thats the matter settled. Nay mair daft posts on the subject please.

RE the parent club jibe - not as bad as the BBC results programme on Saturday, which referred to us as Kaunas Reserves. Who'd have thought a Hibbie would get a job at the BBC??

I see we have a new goal keeping coach, very good for the club but I dont understand why Csaba stated on the 18th that there was a number of candidates but 2 days later we get the coach from Kaunas. It was the same situation as the new goalkeeper looking at a few but where do we get one Kaunas. Very odd Personally I dont think Csaba has all the say in matters as yet I could be wrong but I think Romanov is still up to his old tricks. I hope things work out and the 2 guys do a good job for Hearts thats the main thing I suppose.
