HEARTS striker Calum Elliot admits he is eager to leave Tynecastle but he could face a lengthy wait. The 21-year-old endured a frustrating season and wants a change of club as he attempts to establish himself in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
The Scotland Under-21 international is wanted by Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who are seeking to strengthen their attack following the departure of Dennis Wyness and likely exit of Romanian Marius Niculae. There could be more interest from within th
e SPL, however, but Hearts are unlikely to let Elliot or Burnley target Andrew Driver leave the club before a new manager is appointed.

Hearts have been unable to put a new coach in place after failing to persuade Mark McGhee to leave Motherwell and amid confusion over the intentions of Artmedia Bratislava coach Vladimir Weiss.

Elliot said: "I am waiting to see what is happening regarding the managerial situation at Hearts. The quicker it gets done, the better it is for me because I am looking to get away. I will have to wait until the manager is in place before anything can happen."

Meanwhile, the publication of plans for the development of Falkirk's Westfield home have been delayed. Developer Henry Boot Ltd was expected to publish its business plans for the stadium, which is only half complete, next week. The stadium is run by Falkirk Council and Falkirk Football Club jointly as Falkirk Community Stadium Ltd.

Falkirk chairman Campbell Christie said: "It is very important that proposals are presented in August and that there are no further postponements. I would ask all our supporters to be patient and allow FCSL's proposals to be properly completed."

What a fine professional. When he was farmed out to Motherwell on loan, he never tried a leg because he "couldn't wait to get back to Hearts".

He is unhappy at Hearts.
He is better somewhere enjoying his youth.

Calum, instead of dancing like the king of chavs on youtube and moaning to anybody who'll listen about how hard done by you've been at Hearts, how about looking to yourself, your workrate and your attitude.

Nothing is ever your fault, is it? It's always somebody else's bad pass rather than your failure to meet it, somebody else's bad positioning rather than your inability to hit a ball in a straight line. There are glimmers of ability in your play but I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I've seen you put in the hard yards. You do realise you'll still have to work hard at Caley, don't you?

If your attitude is unlikely to change, I'll gladly see you leave.

I dont blame Elliot at all for wanting away,it seems he has the potential to be a good player but who is going to stay at any Club when the fans are on your back most of the time. If they were true Hearts fans they should be trying to help the lad not shout abuse at him. I wish him the very best if and when he gets a move but it might just be longer than he thinks if he is waiting like the rest of us on this new MANAGER. This is now becoming a joke, other clubs are going ahead getting in new players for the coming season some can even manage to sign a manager. What has Romanov done SFA he is going to bury Hearts, hes the worst that could have happened to us.

Would the new Hearts stadium plan lead to overcrowding problems?
Yes, emergency vehicles would struggle to get in.
Yes, but these could be fixed by banning cars on match days.
No, there’s still plenty of space left for more fans.
