THE speed and the power of modern global communications has rarely been more apparent than last Friday, when a story from The Scotsman reached the very highest levels of American politics in a matter of hours.

Ian Stewart - you're the kind of journalist who would have felt it their moral duty to have betrayed Ann Frank to the Nazis if you have found out from someone - off the record, of course - that she was in hiding. Shame on you. How about you and Gerri Peev getting a decent job - like cleaning public toilets - now?

Ian Stewart you are a disgrace to all journalists. Your editor should be ashamed of running such a story. Off the record means off the record. Remember Ian, without values we are nothing but more than apes. You should be working at a tabloid instead.
