COULD Charlie Miller be coming back to Scotland? There's every chance we'll be seeing the former Rangers and Dundee United midfielder in the season that lies ahead following an Express story that he has reached an agreement with Lierse to rip up his contract because, according to the Belgian club's manager, "the competition for places will be strong and he does not want to sit on the bench."
Kris Boyd told The Sun that he wants to stay at Rangers, despite the arrival of three new strikers. "No-one has ever told me I'm not wanted at Rangers. Until they do, I'll fight on," he said.
The Record claims Celtic have been priced out of the market for striker Roman Pavlychenko by Spartak Moscow, who want £6million for the player.
Watford are leading the chase to sign £800,000-rated Romania striker Marius Niculae from Inverness, according to The Mirror, which also says Tottenham could become the ninth Premier League team to come under foreign ownership, with a Middle East syndicate poised.
