How come there is no mention of the Septics, after trying and sentencing Salim Ahmed Hamdan in Guantanamo Bay, saying that after his sentence is complete, they have no intention of releasing him?

Is this going to be another example of Septic justice? Not content with kidnapping and torturing people, then depriving them of normal judicial rights, they are intending to totally ignore their own legal system yet again.

Guga

In a 4 line story there's no space to say anything.

The trial of Hamdan should have proved to the world the fairness of the tribunals. It would not be in the US interest to keep this man any longer than necessary. Even though when he was arrested he had a surface to air rocket or missile in the trunk of his car. But then again to an appeaser like #1, what difference should that make.

Lynne, what has the e-entity known as 'Guga II' done to be promoted to 'appeaser' - I understood that he was merely an angry and envious little man who, like all of us, was right about some things and wrong about most things? Has something changed in these past few months?

No doubt with their tails between their legs at their abject failure.

"Even though when he was arrested he had a surface to air rocket or missile in the trunk of his car."

Would that be one of the ones previously supplied to the Afghans by the USA?

If you invade and occupy a foreign country and install a puppet government sooner or later you are going to have to face taht counrty's resistance fighters.

Putting them on trial by a kangaroo court euphemised as a military tribunal is not going to make them go away.

Thanks

Apologies, I almost failed to mention that when the US withdraws its troops from the American Colony of Iraq is entirely dependent on when the Knesset instructs the US Government to withdraw!!!

"the American Colony of Iraq"

Were you dropped on your head when you were young? Or possibly your wife or husband ran off with an American? Why would you use such visceral non sense? Do you only get MSNBC where you live?

There are countless references to the surface to air missile in his car:

Although I am not a lawyer, my interpretation of the acquital charge related to the SAMS in the trunk is because the Judge's instructions to the jury required specificity as to whom Hamdan planned on killing with the SAMS; and there was no such specificity presented at trial.

Hamden under interrogation:
What? I have a missile in my trunk? Really? I can't imagine how a missile got there. I put suitcases in the trunk, NOT Missiles! Two Missiles? No! No! You are a lier Mr. Interrogator! There is no room in my trunk for ONE missile, never mind TWO Missiles!!
I am a simple family man driving my wife to my mother in law. No missiles.

3. the cows come home
4. the crawfish whistles
5. and the chickens come home to roost

"The fact that the majority of the world's population disdains US policies indicates that the US is out of step. Maybe President Obama will correct that?
US, get the F*** out of Iraq, take your troops home and use them to resolve your domestic problems."

What the majority of the worlds population disdains are pompous nitwits who arrogate unto themselves the title of "Spokesman for the Majority of the Worlds Population."

Barak Obama may become the president of his local PTA but he is going to be trounced in the November election. In fact, the odds are against him even being nominated. Most likely it will be, after a vicious contest, Hillary Clinton. Hillary is a much more formidable opponent. Barak is a joke.

As for the get the f*&) out of Iraq business, who do you think you are and who do you think you're talking to, you transparent nobody? We'll leave when we are good and ready to leave. Why, do you have a plan for forcing us out? If you do you'd better check with the Iraqi people who would rather pour salt in their eyes than see us leave. By the way, the war in Iraq is over and we won. I know you hate hearing that. It's obvious that you would consign our Iraqi brothers and sisters to an unspeakable tyranny than the see the US successful in its effort to establish a democracy that will give the Iraqi people the same dignity of self-rule that you enjoy but apparently do believe the Iraqis should have. Nice guy. Oh yeah, one more think, we won, YOU LOST.

Read 'em and weep, pipsqueak.

I don't even think you need to practice losing anymore, I'd say you've got it perfected.
