Speeding ban for Scots Labour MP

THE Labour MP for Falkirk, Eric Joyce, has been banned from driving for six months after speeding on the M9.
Mr Joyce, 47, who is private secretary to the Business Secretary, John Hutton, pleaded guilty by letter this week at Falkirk District Court to driving at 81mph on the motorway near Bo'ness, West Lothian, on 4 April. A spokeswoman for the district court said yesterday he was fined £105, and had threepoints endorsed on his licence, which took him over the 12-point limit at which a ban
