THE BBC News at Ten sparked almost 100 complaints after showing footage on Wednesday of a Palestinian man being shot dead after running amok with a bulldozer in Jerusalem.
The construction worker killed three people and injured at least 45 others when he crushed cars and overturned buses on a busy street on Wednesday.

The programme warned viewers: "We did film the moment when the attacker was shot dead." Two men were seen to climb on board the bulldozer, before an off-duty soldier in a blue T-shirt shot the driver from close range. The BBC received 61 complaints, and TV watchdog Ofcom a further 32.

"Ooh, nooo! Don't show news on the news!"

good grief.

"This news broadcast has been sanitised for the hard of thinking."

I'm sitting here humming Don Henley's 'Dirty Laundry'.

Prepare for the 'pushing the envelope' speech to justify this landmark in journalism.
That's showbiz folks.
We get what we deserve.

Here in Canada there is usually a warning before the showing of such graphic news footage and why should we not see the horrible truth of the inhumanity inflicted upon mankind by crazy religious zealots?

It's the NEWS for FFS. It happened. A man got shot. It was also shown after 10pm so where is the problem?

When they made the film "Good Morning Vietnam" when Adrian Cronauer told everyone what "didn't happen" in Siagon the previous day, it wasn't supposed to be a role model for real life news reporting.

I really find it difficult to believe that there are people out there so stupid, so head-in-the-sand, so unbelievably pink and fluffy, that they cannot take the truth of what is happening in this world.

Publish their names and addresses so that we can all have a good laugh at them... Imbiciles.
