Kenny MacAskill is a total waste of space who seems determined to cause the maximum amount of damage to the SNP through the promulgation foolish ideas. This is that man who, among other things, wants to bring in unworkable legislation on alcohol, instead of enforcing existing legislation. This is also the man who doesn't want to gaol anyone under the age of 18, even if they are violent and vicious neds and thugs.

Wee Eck needs to get shot of him, and send him back to the Labour Party from whence he came.

How about some form of Disclosure in Criminal cases like some States in America where even the full transcripts of trials are available "Free" not only to accused people but also on-line for anyone to see.

Here our Crown Office are still allowed to hide documents from accused people despite our Lord Advocate promising their release before she was Lord Advocate.

Honesty, Openness and Accountability is a must for any system of Justice.

What about it Mr Mac

Video makes such a difference to a story, and rather than wade through MacAskill's less than believable writings above, you can see and hear his real intentions here -

Why should the Scottish legal profession be supported to compete internationally? What does that mean? Surely a legal system should function nationally. It's not in competition with any other.
