I didn't just learn to recite amo, amas, amat in my Latin class. I also learned that Agrippa (caption, 2 May) was the right-hand man of Augustus, not the emperor himself.

Agrippa was hoping to be nominated next emperor, but the big man himself, Augustus famously passed him over for his younger heirs.
