Worthy comment. A jumped up Edinburgh councillor should not pretend to Lord it over an educated African. Is the Chancellor still ridiculing Zimbabwe's financial crisis? He was doing so last month.

What qualifications does Alastair Darling have to be chancellor? Maybe the answer to that might be a clue to why he's such a disaster at the job - mind you his predecessor was just as bad...
