ANNE Jack will certainly be enjoying lunch with a view in October when she joins other Abbey Business Centre clients in the penthouse dining-room at London’s Gherkin.
Jack, who runs thetrainline.com’s Edinburgh operation from the Abbey Business Centre on Princes Street, is celebrating Abbey’s tenth birthday.

The company was founded in Glasgow in 1998 and now runs 14 serviced office centres in the UK.

Stan Paterson, from the Glasgow Employer Coalition, and Contempo Lettings’ Carolyn Donaldson will also take part in the lunch – at 180 metres above the UK capital – after winning a competition to represent the Abbey’s clients at the event.

Julie Calder, managing director of Abbey Business Centres, said: “Abbey has a head for heights.

“In addition to our offices at the Gherkin, which are on the 28th and 29th floors, we have recently taken a 15-year lease on the 37th floor of One Canada Square at Canary Wharf – meaning we now have the distinction of operating the UK’s highest serviced office”.
