McGhee bids to lure Gow to Motherwell

MOTHERWELL manager Mark McGhee hopes to sign Rangers outcast Alan Gow as a replacement for Ross McCormack after the Scotland international joined Cardiff.
McGhee said: "I've spoken to Walter Smith about the player before now and I'll be speaking to him again."

Another waste of talent screwed up by the OF. Should have joined Hibs when he had the chance. We would have a better national team if it was not for OF stifling our players coming through the ranks. Top tip in the future should be if young players are after a career and money - go to another country. If you are after only the money - go to the OF.

#1 In this case I couldn't agree more. Hopefully Gow will get a move before the season starts and start playing football again. How demoralising must it be to sign for your boyhood heroes and then get left to rot in the reserves ?

#1 atlest rangers let their players go if they dont do well, unlike celtic. who keep their players pretty much until when their contract exp,
