MOTHERWELL will rename the main stand at Fir Park as the Phil O'Donnell Stand on 2 August after arranging a pre-season friendly against Spanish league runners-up Villarreal for the same day.
The naming of the stand will take place before the match, from which half the proceeds will go towards an educational trust for O'Donnell and wife Eileen's four children.

O'Donnell died on 29 December, after collapsing on the pitch during Motherwell's home match against Dundee United. He was 35.
